Action Bronson Kicks Off Album Rollout With "Nourish a Thug"
‘Johann Sebastian Bachlava The Doctor’ is slated to drop “very soon.”
Action Bronson has been eating his veggies… After unveiling his New Balance 1906R “Rosewater” earlier this week, the sonic sneakerhead has served up a new single – aptly dubbed “Nourish a Thug” – which he revealed is the first offering from his imminent new album.
Entitled Johann Sebastian Bachlava The Doctor, Bronson’s just-announced studio offering marks his first LP since 2022’s Cocodrillo Turbo.
“THE DOCTOR IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER,” he wrote on Instagram.
“[THE ALBUM] DISPLAYS MYSTICAL MUSICAL RHYTHMS THAT TRANSPORT YOU TO A DIFFERENT WORLD ALONG WITH OTHER WORLDY LYRICAL ENSEMBLE. MY NEW ALBUM JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACHLAVA THE DOCTOR IS SOON UPON US.”
The rapper cheffed up a classic offering on”Nourish a Thug”, a just-under three-minute track filled with smart and witty wordplay.
“Left hand shifting with the glove on / Heading towards the lake where I exfoliate with mud on / Form underneath Earth’s crust burst up / The properties to nourish a thug,” he begins. The cut comes complete with cover art designed by Bam Bam himself, as well as a music video from Sean Kelly. Find it in the gallery above.
