The Chronicles of DOOM: Unraveling Rap’s Masked Iconoclast will hit shelves on October 29, 2024 — almost four years to day of the late artist’s death anniversary. Utilizing his collabs throughout his career, the 352-page biography will chronicle the life of the villain we know as MF DOOM, starting from his roots in Long Beach, New York, to his work in KMD and his transformation into MF DOOM.
“Centering the music, SKIZ deftly lays out the history of east-coast rap against DOOM’s life story and dissects the personas, projects, tracks, and lyrics that led to his immortality,” a release for the book read. Readers and fans can expect exclusive interviews with some of DOOM’s close collaborators, “providing an unknown, intimate, behind the scenes look into DOOM’s life.
