girl in red has brought her flair to A24‘s Everyone’s Getting Involved Talking Heads tribute album. The enigmatic songstress covered “Girlfriend Is Better” for the stacked compilation album which includes Miley Cyrus, Teezo Touchdown, Lorde, Kevin Abstract, Toro y Moi and many, many others – and marks A24’s first official foray into the music sphere.
Hot off her I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY! LP, girl in red infused the iconic track with her signature playfulness and persona. “Talking Heads is an iconic band that helped define my identity when I was a teenager and they continue to inspire young people all around the world,” she said in a statement.
“Being a part of this tribute is so sick and I’m super grateful I was given the opportunity. Talking Heads forever!!!!”
