Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024 Womenswear

Paris Fashion Week FW24 womenswear kicked off this past Monday and it’s in full swing. With Paris being a continued location for some of fashion’s biggest names to exhibit, the roster has been packed with highlight moments across the bevy of talent. But even though it’s a womenswear-focused week, select brands have tossed in menswear looks as well.

Thus far, the brands that have shown since Monday include, LOEWE, Rick Owens, Balmain, Givenchy, Off-White™, Dries Van Noten, Acne Studios, Courrèges, Saint Laurent, Dior, Vetements and more.

PFW is set to wrap on Tuesday, March 5. Stay tuned for Hypebeast’s continued coverage of Paris Fashion Week.

PUMA Posts Positive Financial Results in 2023, Forecasts “Tough” Times Ahead

This week, PUMA released its 2023 financial report, which revealed positive sales increases by 6.6% to €8.6 billion EUR in a year. But what stood out in the report is that the brand is forecasting a “tough” year despite its positive 2023 results.

“2023 was a success despite all the macroeconomic and environmental challenges and the geopolitical volatility we experienced,” said the company’s chief executive officer Arne Freundt, who was “optimistic” during the brand’s press conference, per WWD. “It was another year where we showed the market that Puma is the challenger, both in sports and sports culture.”

It’s also important to note that despite the overall positive report, the sportswear giant saw a 4% decrease in sales in the fourth quarter across all product categories. Due to “muted consumer sentiment and volatile demand” the brand is predicting that its 2024 EBIT (earnings before income and profit) may sit between €620 million EUR and €700 million EUR, with “mid-single-digits” growth.

Check out the post above for the full details on what’s happening with PUMA.

Jacquemus and Nike Return With an Athletic Spring 2024 Collection

Jacquemus and Nike have revealed their latest athletic Spring 2024 collection with Sha’Carri Richardson as the star.

Leading the charge is the Swoosh logo purse, which was previously teased. But as far as apparel goes, special collection highlights include the “La Robe Drapée” polyester-elastane dress and the “Le Hau Drapé” nylon-elastane drop-top. The collection is also embedded with cotton hoodies, joggers and tees that boast laser cutouts of the Nike Swoosh.

Of course, the offering wouldn’t be complete without footwear that sees the J Force 1 sneakers. The new Jacquemus x Nike collection is available now online.

Louis Vuitton to Stage Cruise 2025 Show in Barcelona

Another day, another destination fashion show announcement. But that’s one of the main things that keep matters fun right? In the spirit of travel, which fits Louis Vuitton’s core values, the house has announced that it’s heading to Barcelona, Spain for its Cruise 2025 show.

Aside from the runway show, the brand is set to deliver its City Guide for Barcelona and new educational programs for the city’s creative community following the show. Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2025 show is set to take place on May 23.

Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 Collection Show in Hong Kong Postponed Indefinitely

Dior has indefinitely postponed its Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection show in Hong Kong, which was scheduled to take place on March 23.

The show was intended to head to the city’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal to reveal Kim Jones’ latest menswear designs. To date, a reason for the show’s cancellation and any details about a potential rescheduling have not been provided.

Stay tuned to Hypebeast for updates on the matter.

Supreme x The North Face Spring 2024 Collaboration

Supreme is no stranger to collaboration, especially when it comes to its longtime friend, The North Face. Now, with warmer days on the horizon, the brand has released its new Supreme x The North Face Spring 2024 collaboration.

Still with a focus on outerwear, the wardrobe sees the Nuptse Jacket and Taped Seam Shell Jacket as standouts. But the collaboration also sees knitwear, tees, shorts, 6-Panel and Waist Bag. The pieces are livened by two-tone camo prints alongside two-tone solid constructions.

The Supreme x The North Face Spring 2024 collaboration has been released in the United States and will be released on March 2 in Japan.

Stone Island To Present First US Archival Exhibition in Los Angeles

Stone Island has headed to Frieze Los Angeles to present its curated archival show of unexhibited and rare pieces tilted, Selected Works ‘982-‘024.

The exhibition chronicles the brand’s history since its 1982 establishment and sees 42 garments bring that story to life. Some of the included pieces span its core Reflective Jackets from 1992, the Shadow Project, its collaborations with brands like ACRONYM®, Supreme, NikeLab and more.

Selected Works ‘982-‘024 is on display from February 29 to March 3 with registration available on the Stone Island website.
