Netflix‘s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is returning for a second and third season.

The streamer announced the news just two weeks after the show premiered, sharing that Seasons 2 and 3 will “bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion.” The Last Airbender earned 41.1 million views in its first 11 days and is currently Netflix’s No. 1 English TV show. It was also ranked No. 1 in 76 countries and in the top 10 in 92 countries. Further details for the upcoming two seasons are yet to be announced.

Season one features a total of eight episodes and follows the return of Aang, the Avatar and last Air Nomad, after being frozen for a hundred years. He’s joined by Southern Water Tribe members and siblings Sokka and Katara as they try to save the world from the Fire Nation, who are hellbent on ruling all four nations.

Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Ken Leung, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Daniel Dae Kim lead the main cast for the first season, with Albert Kim serving as showrunner, executive producer and writer.
