After setting Paris Fashion Week on fire for Fall/Winter 2023, Danish label HELIOT EMIL has returned with another spectacle, debuting its Fall/Winter 2024 collection that is powerfully protected. HELIOT EMIL returned to Parisian grounds with new offerings off-schedule, building on the concept of “SHELTER” across 23 looks.

HELIOT EMIL’s new collection shields its wearer from unprecedented experiences, taking clear inspiration from motorsports with novel appeal. FW24 braced the Parisian wind on mineral walkways that imitated anchored snow, seeing models walk the runway in defiant all-black gear.

Lightweight textiles took flight on wrapped outerwear and flowy trousers, ushered in by slim-cut suiting with defensive shawls. HELIOT EMIL’s inflated designs ruled the runway across swollen puffer jackets and circular shoulder bags, redesigned with short-haired textiles and buckled accessories.

HELIOT EMIL presented its second collaboration with Italian motorsport pioneer Alpinestars, building on its 60-year history with padded outerwear and printed racing jackets. While the collection examined the physical and emotional capabilities of protection, HELIOT EMIL and Alpinestars repurposed deadstock materials into 15 1-of-1 designs. The most striking look of all remodels dated TECH-AIR systems into clinging uniforms with cascading straps, evolving into a futuristic kit for tomorrow and beyond.

Take a closer look at HELIOT EMIL’s FW24 collection in the gallery above, and stay tuned for more Paris Fashion Week content on Hypebeast.
