Louis Vuitton to Stage Cruise 2025 Show in Barcelona

Arriving in the Spanish city mid-May.

Louis Vuitton has officially announced that their next Cruise 2025 show will be held in Barcelona. The show kicks off a broad list of collaborations the French luxury brand has with the Spanish city.

Landing this spring, the collection will be latest from creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, who has helmed the women’s collections at the house since 2013. As per WWD, the new collection will be shown in tandem with various planned “exhibitions, cultural activations and educational programs.” After the show, Louis Vuitton will release its City Guide for Barcelona and educational programs to recognize the creative community there. Later this year, the fashion house is also hosting sailing’s biggest event in the city, the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s cup aka the Formula 1 of the sea, is scheduled to go on from August 22 to October 27 on the Mediterranean Coast of Barcelona.

In regards to the house’s relationship with the city, CEO of Louis Vuitton Pietro Beccari said that Barcelona and the brand share common values “that are deeply anchored into a remarkable heritage and the passion for creativity.” The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 show will occur on May 23.
