The days of Casablanca‘s controversies are no more. After using real horses and chanting inconsiderate speeches at previous runway shows, Charaf Tajer has finally found his balance. Casablanca has returned to Paris Fashion Week to deliver a modified picture of Ancient Greece, touring impactful eras that trace the brand’s multi-faceted identity.

Casablanca’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection trotted on a blue-carpeted runway exploring the past and future of human nature influenced by Björk‘s “Venus as a Boy.” The selection of the same name reviews Venus’s dynamic impact on the forgotten Greek city of Eleusis, which honored influential figures, including Plato, Aristotle, and Herodotus. FW24 takes a trip into the unknown by packing the collection with psychedelic allure and ultra-modern seduction.

Synchronized dancers ignited the occasion with coordinating movements, illuminating the collection with majestic lighting. “Venus as a Boy” is viewed through a color-heavy kaleidoscope, leveling bundled effects on tugged silhouettes. Skin-tight gowns and suits were pulled at the waist for an elusive look, while the brand’s sophisticated sportswear stood firm across structured tracksuits and sheer tennis gear.

Heavenly gradients went from blue to green on strong-shouldered coats paired with prehistoric urns carried in one hand. Marbled status and flying angels are woven into mock neck tops and collaborative Jeff Hamilton varsity jackets, while long-haired outerwear, metallic puffers, and half-moon hardware reimagine quintessential Casablanca garms for an ambitious tomorrow.

Take a closer look at Casablanca’s FW24 collection in the gallery above, and stay tuned for more Paris Fashion Week content on Hypebeast.
