Caroline Polachek To Release Deluxe LP, 'Desire, I Want To Turn Into You: Everlasting Edition'
Kicking off the rollout with a “Butterfly Net” rework featuring Weyes Blood.
Caroline Polachek is coming out with a deluxe edition of her Grammy-nominated album, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You. The project dropped a year ago as the singer’s fourth studio LP overall, but only the second she released under her real name.
The original album contained just two artists, Grimes and Dido, who appeared alongside one another on the song “Fly to You.” For the deluxe edition, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You: Everlasting Edition, Polacheck has tapped alternative artist Weyes Blood for the first single.
Polachek and Blood appear on a new version of “Butterfly Net,” a cut from the original LP. On the reworked track, the two singers each deliver their own soaring bars, harmonizing with one another.
Most of Desire, I Want to Turn Into You: Everlasting Edition was co-produced by Polachek and Danny L Harle. The deluxe version will be released exactly one year after the original’s debut on February 14.
