UNDEFEATED Taiwan Reveals Lunar New Year Capsule
A commemorative range entitled “Long Live Golden Snake.”
With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, UNDEFEATED has lifted the curtain on its contribution to the celebrations. In homage to this year’s Year of the Snake, the imprint’s Taiwan outpost is presenting a capsule entitled “Long Live Golden Snake” – a range of garments and accessories that tap into the wealth and good fortune brought about by the golden snake.
“Golden snakes bring auspiciousness, wealth and longevity,” UNDEFEATED explained in an Instagram caption, pairing the motif with the similarly symbolic peony flower. The commemorative imagery snake through the entire collection, which spans collared jackets, embroidered work shirts and graphic crewnecks and tees, all of which are doused, primarily, in hues of red, black and white. The golden snake encircles UNDEFEATED’s infamous “Five Strike” five-strip logo in a handful of the graphics and embroidered designs.
Knitwear spans monochromatic pullover sweaters, similarly imbued with the slithering reworking of the “Five Strike,” while accessories include a lacquer seal ring, silver coin necklace and a laser-engraved Jenga set.
