Seiko Releases Shohei Ohtani Limited Edition Prospex Watches
Arriving in the Los Angeles Dodgers team colors.
Seiko has officially announced two limited-edition Prospex watch models with Shohei Ohtani. Arriving in the Los Angeles Dodgers team colors, the limited edition models “SBEJ023” and “SBEJ025” take on two variations of Dodgers’ blue color scheme.
One of the models, the SBEJ023, is based on the Mechanical Divers 1968 Heritage GMT and is revealed in a bold, black colorway. With a bezel in blue, it accents the team color and sees the premium sports watch feature the GMT hand and GMT logo in red to complement and match the Dodgers theme. The watch also features Ohtan’s uniform No. 17 on the crown. The second model, SBEJ025 features a white dial to contrast. Both of the watches feature Ohtani’s signature on the clasp. The back cover reads, “SHOHEI OHTANI LIMITED EDITION” alongside the serial number o the watch. The black model is limited to 1,700 pieces while the one with the white dial only has 500 pieces.
Each of the watches retail for approximately ¥330,000 JPY and online stores are now accepting reservations for the watch on a member-only basis. The watches drop on February 7, 2025.
