Ben Priest Introduces BAA, a Purveyor of Refined Basics
Built around the Bel-Air Academy IP, the brand offers quality cotton items — all for under $200 USD.

BAA is taking on a new meaning (and a new pronunciation: bee-ay-ay) at the tail end of 2024. It’s now the moniker of a just-launched brand, led by Ben Priest — who’s been joined by Won co-founer and Washington Wizards guard/forward Kyle Kuzma as well as entrepreneur Daniel White — that prides itself on crafting high-quality cotton basics, simple garments created by skillful technique.
Built around the IP of Bel-Air Academy, BAA offers crewnecks, hoodies, tees, bodysuits, shorts, sweats, underwear and socks in foundational black, grey and white colors, all at palatable price points — none of its pieces retail for more than $200 USD.
The brand’s first release is available now, and consists of 21 unisex tri-blend styles with multiple graphic options, four women’s bodysuits and a handful of staples ranging from socks and underwear to a duffle bag. BAA’s no-frills garments were first seen on Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma — fittingly, as Kuzma recently announced he was retiring from the “tunnel fit” game and would instead wear sweatsuits.
BAA’s first collection is available now via its webstore.
