Playboi Carti has confirmed that Ye will be producing his elusive album I AM MUSIC.

HotNewHipHop reports that the artist shared the news at a recent Las Vegas appearance, first giving West a shoutout in front of the crowd. “He over here making beats and sh*t,” he said. “That album gonna be crazy, I can’t wait to show y’all n****s.”

This isn’t the first time Carti has teased Ye’s involvement in his upcoming album, however. Earlier this September, he took to Instagram and wrote,”@Ye KANT WAIT 2 SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE BEEN WORKIN ON WIT DIS ALBUM. WE DA REAL 5L NO DOUBT.” His collaborator replied, writing, “Love this.”

In addition to the news of Ye serving as a producer, Carti revealed that the album will likely not have any guest features. He was spotted and recorded talking to fans from his car, first asking them if he should drop I AM MUSIC this year or next. After being asked by a fan in regards to any features, he answered, “I’m trying to do this by myself.”

Stay tuned for an official announcement and check back in on November 22 for the release of new Carti music.
