Off-White Is Officially Getting Into "GOLF"
Designed and created by pro golfer Paris Hilinski.
Those who closely follow the brands and personalities who are pioneering golf’s style renaissance are likely familiar with Paris Hilinski. In a short career the 21-year-old pro golfer has already established a reputation as a disruptor given her unique blend of streetwear and luxury, a sensibility which earned her deals with the likes of JBL and COBRA.
But the most defining relationship is surely the one she has with Off-White. Her connection to the brand dates back to when the late Virgil Abloh was still at the helm, and at the time of Abloh’s death golf was just beginning to surge in popularity with younger and fashion-focused audiences. But despite all the OW logo-ed polos and spiked Out Of Office shoes, it was unclear whether the clothes Hilinski wore were exclusive to her or part of a larger plan. Now we have the answer.
The hard launch took place this past weekend where she competed in the Aramco Team Series in Saudi Arabia alongside Malbon golf ambassador Charley Hull. Over the course of the tournament, Hilinski wore striped sweater vests, performance polos and lightweight base layers adorned with the new script Off-White golf logo that the pro golfer designed and created herself. Although price points are yet to be known, the line will consist of both men and women’s apparel, covering lifestyle and performance. Varsity jackets with chenille logo patches with serve as staple off-course items. The retrofitted Out Of Office will be the central footwear offering, a style which Hilinski actually seeded to Anthony Kim in his return to professional golf last February.
The launch will be celebrated on December 5 in Miami during Art Basel week, meaning the release can be expected around the same time. Flyers being distributed read “ALL IN ONE”, a phrase which is also being used on various items from the collection.
