Madvillain's "Accordion" and "Rhinestone Cowboy" Music Videos Receive 4K Remasters
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of MF DOOM and Madlib’s ‘Madvillainy.’
MF DOOM and Madlib a.k.a. Madvillain’s “Accordion” and “Rhinestone Cowboy” have been re-released in their full 4K glory.
The music videos were remastered by director Andrew Gura from both the original and recently unearthed DV files. “Accordion” and “Rhinestone Cowboy’s” music videos just in time for the 20th anniversary of the pair’s seminal joint album Madvillainy alongside its special Demos and Audiophile Edition vinyl LP releases.
The Demos LP will hear the album’s demo tracks on vinyl for the first time since they were initially released on tape in 2008 as part of a box set, and then again in September 2013 for the first ever Cassette Store Day. Meanwhile, the Audiophile Edition is a celebration of the finished record and is re-cut at 45rpm and pressed to 180g vinyl.
