DJ and producer Natalia Roth was born and raised in Puerto Rico but later moved to Miami, where she now pulls inspiration for her high-octane mixes. As a resident DJ at Space and a regular at the popular party series, Melodie, she is no stranger to the unique underground nightlife scene that flourishes in the 305. That same scene inspired the new Monster Energy Ultra Vice Guava flavor, a blend that keeps creatives like Roth boosted all night long.

When asked about her origin story within music, Roth explained, “I discovered my love for dance music circa 2013-2014 in my hometown, Puerto Rico, where I started being exposed to it and was fascinated by how DJs could create such amazing experiences.” Now, she creates those same unforgettable experiences for lively crowds at some of the most coveted clubs in the coastal city, a scene that the DJ shares is truly one-of-a-kind.

“Miami nightlife creates a culture you can’t find anywhere else. It brings people together in a free, spontaneous way where everyone’s just there to enjoy the moment. There’s a sense of community, even if you don’t know the people around you, because everyone’s connected by the music,” she adds.

Miami’s club, dance and music scene is truly a must-experience and a night with Monster Energy Ultra takes it to another level. Whether your night takes you from South Beach to Calle Ocho, the brand’s flavor options provide the spark you need to keep going all evening. Alongside Monster, DJ Natalia Roth hit up the power-packed III Points Music festival, for a charged-up night out with the Zero Sugar Ultra Vice Guava on hand. III Points Music Festival is a fusion of art and music hosted in South Florida’s Wynwood District — the event merges the sounds of hip-hop, electronic, classic house, techno and more.

Roth kickstarted her day by going through pre-performance rituals. “I usually start by creating a playlist of tracks that I feel go well for that specific show, making sure to organize my music into categories and that the energies include a good balance. On the day of the performance, I always try to be well-rested,” she explains, “Before going on, I usually start with some time to get in the right headspace. I stop in to the venue early to get a good feel of the room.”

Embracing the calm before the storm, it was time to head to Roth’s studio so she could prep for her set and organize tracks ahead of the festival. She explains that keeping the energy alive — something that Monster knows a thing or two about — is a big requirement when taking the stage. “Connecting with people through music — there’s something powerful about creating a shared experience where words aren’t needed, just the music and the emotion it brings. I know I’m connecting with a crowd when I can feel the energy in the room shift — when I see people reacting or just getting lost in the moment, it’s a clear sign that we’re on the same wavelength,” she shares.

Roth also shared her essentials for the day on the way to the festival: her USB, headphones, and Ultra Vice Guava to keep her pumped from day to night. At III Points, the DJ’s lively performance really got the crowds going, as she played a set informed by her minimal house, electro and techno influences.

After taking the stage, Roth and Monster Energy Ultra checked out other performances as the sun set on the magic city. But the night wasn’t quite over yet, because in Miami, there’s always an afterparty. Heading to Space, Roth closed out the night with a performance. Fortunately, she had Zero Sugar Ultra Vice Guava with her to keep her going all night long.
