G-Dragon, Penelope Cruz and Angèle were the house ambassadors that attended the show.
After taking to the Souther French city of Marseille to present its Cruise 2024/25 collection, Chanel re-stages the collection in Hong Kong. The
French luxury house invited Audrey Diwan to direct a short film ahead of time, titled Modern Flirt, to bridge the historical link between Gabrielle Chanel and the art of cinematography. Two strangers, played by Angela Yuen and Benjamin Voisin, find each other in the effervescence of the city and its infinite lights. Inspired by the interaction of the way people in Hong Kong exist here and just how many people one can meet, Diwan invites guest to reimagine their understanding of human relationships. While bringing the Cruise collection to Hong Kong is different from the South of France, the collection still centers around the imagination and fantasies of meeting someone new.
