UNIQLO and JW Anderson Reimagine Coastal Fishermen Attire for FW24
Revolving around an “elements of land and sea” theme.
JW Anderson is reuniting with UNIQLO to unveil their latest collaborative range. Centering on an “elements of land and sea” theme, this seasonal collection focuses on reimagining British fishermen’s attire into modern wardrobe staples.
Designed with the autumnal and wintry climates in mind, the lineup comprises a mix of womenswear, menswear and accessories. From wool blend duffle coats, a padded trench coat, cable and diamond knit sweaters, flannel shirts, pants, wrap skirts, beanies, and scarves to cozy heattech socks, pieces from the range are perfect for layering all while keeping it wearers insulated.
Rendered in a palette of blues, grays, browns, monochrome, alongside the olive green and terracotta hues, the color scheme serves as an extension of the collection’s inspiration, evoking cues from verdant fields, pebblestones and cloudy skies as seen on British coasts.
“Drawing inspiration from the UK coast, this collection embraces a rustic, nostalgic atmosphere, like that of a fisherman. I hope that everyone will enjoy the variety of warm and comfortable items that are easy to layer as the seasons change,” notes Jonathan Anderson.
With prices ranging from $8 – $150 USD, the new collection will officially land online and through select UNIQLO stores on October 17.
