Stüssy and Mountain Hardwear Want to Fit You for the Slopes
The duo has reunited for a new lineup of expedition-quality garments, ranging from GORE-TEX bibs and shells to insulated sub-zero jackets and CORDURA backpacks.

After collaborating on an electric lineup of outdoor-ready garments last year, Stüssy and Mountain Hardwear have reunited to create a fresh range of expedition-quality gear for the upcoming colder months.
Billed as “hardwearing equipment for the great outdoors,” the collection includes GORE-TEX bibs and shells, insulated sub-zero jackets, beanies, caps and CORDURA backpacks, among several other co-branded items. Mountain Hardwear, known for building essential equipment for climbers, mountaineers and outdoor athletes, pumps the collaboration with functionality, with multi-pocketed outerwear constructions, bulky weather-resistant trousers and storage-maximizing accessories, while Stüssy injects the line with its signature SoCal flair.
In comparison to the duo’s latest output, this latest range operates on a much more subdued color palette. Swapping out neon hues for dark greens, sky blues and muted tones, the lineup forms a largely calm wardrobe for the serious outdoorspeople. There are, however, a selection of citrusy orange long-sleeves and beanies that are better suited for the statement-makers, or those who simply want higher visibility on a snow-capped mountain.
The Stüssy x Mountain Hardwear collection will launch online and at select Stüssy chapter stores across North America, UK, Europe, Japan and Korea on November 1 at 10 a.m. local time. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
