NTS Radio Taps Unified Goods for Capsule Collaboration
Inspired by the aestheitics of cult films and rental culture.
Following Unified Good’s exclusive merch release for Hot Chip last month, the progressive vintage and lifestyle concept brand is gearing up for its next capsule collection. This time, it’s joining forces with NTS Radio for a collaborative range, comprising 6 pieces ranging from T-shirts, a sweatshirt, a hoodie, a cap and a ceramic ashtray. Among the lineup, the ashtray is a collaboration with New York-based graphic designer, Cody De Franco.
On the design front, the classic apparel staples implement eye-catching graphics and bold lettering. Deriving cues from cult films, soundtracks, rental culture as well as the heady world of rare VHS tapes, the black T-shirt is a simple, but prime specimen of its design inspirations — featuring “I need to return some video tapes” in wonky typography. Another highlighted piece is the white T-shirt, which spotlights “Life is beautiful” in mirrored lettering across the front.
The NTS Radio and Unified Goods capsule collection will launch on October 24 and will be available to shop through both brands’ websites.
