Kurono Tokyo’s “SENSU NOS” Models Showcase Stunning Guilloché Dials
Offered in blue and cream variants.

Back with a new timepiece release, Kurono Tokyo has unveiled a pair of Special Projects Réserve de Marche wristwatches, nicknamed “SENSU NOS.”
Revealed in blue and cream variants, both models spotlight a stunning guilloché crafted on a convex dial, reimagined by Kurono Tokyo’s founder and renowned watchmaker, Hajime Asaoka. Arriving in a 38mm case diameter, the design of “SENSU NOS” exudes Art Deco appeal. Arabic numerals are implemented on the Cream variant, with blue-steel hands adding an alluring touch of color contrast to the gentle dial. Meanwhile, the Blue edition comes imbued with Eastern elements such as calligraphic Kanji hour-makers and a guilloché power-reserve indicator in the shape of a folding Japanese fan.
Beating as the heart of the “SENSU NOS” is a Cal.9134PWT movement that has been modified in-house at Kurono Tokyo. According to the brand, Asaoka had to remove the caliber’s original date function in order to minimize the amount of indicators on the dial — as he “desired a classically clean dial to showcase as much of his guilloche design.”
The Special Projects Réserve de Marche “SENSU N.O.S” watches boast a price tag of $2,150 USD each and will be available to order on October 10, 10 p.m. JST/ 9 a.m. EDT. All successfully placed orders within are expected to receive the watch starting November 2024. For more information, visit Kurono Tokyo’s official website.
