Coperni's Disneyland Paris Show Was Fashion Month's Magical Fairy-Tale Ending
Under Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Parisian label paid a classy tribute to the Happiest Place on Earth, with a nostalgic collection of vintage Disney T-shirts, villainous garbs and billowing princess gowns (one of which Kylie Jenner closed the show wearing).
On the final night of Paris Fashion Week, Coperni transported the French capital’s showgoers to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland Paris, for a magical conclusion to Fashion Month. Upon promptly entering the Magic Kingdom at 9:30 p.m., guests strolled down a lit-up Main Street to the park’s quaint Town Square, where Mickey Mouse and Friends waved down to giddy voguettes, who shared words of excitement over champagne flutes. At once, the iPhone-clad fashion brigade was guided toward Sleeping Beauty Castle, the bright pink fortress from which Coperni’s Spring 2025 collection would soon strut. Needless to say, the crowd’s inner children were exceptionally excited.
“We grew up with Disney as an important part of our childhood,” designers Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant explained. “For many French children, particularly those from the provinces, the first family visit to the big city Paris meant a trip to Disneyland Paris. Disney’s fairy tales and characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Cinderella and Malificent were our guides through the complex landscape of human emotions—friendship, love, fear, courage, transformation.”
Swapping glass slippers for Swarovski crystal Swipe bags and Mickey Mouse ears for fantastical regal garbs, the resulting collection celebrated “youth, nostalgia and imagination” in three acts: “Park Tribes,” “The Villains” and “The Princess Transformation.”

The first installment captured the carefree spirit of kids running through park, with vintage Disney T-shirts and Victorian tops decorated with organza butterflies that were akin to character costumes you might have worn to Disneyland at one time. A few aw‘s rumbled off the tongues of those in the front row. It was simply cute.
The second act, brought on by bursts of flames from the castle, was much more intimidating. On a powerful all-black palette, Meyer and Vaillant crafted horned hoodies, wicked gowns and monstrous leather coats—all with sharp cuts that clearly referenced Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent. The results were cunningly alluring, much like their character reference.
The final chapter of the collection was where the Ariels, Snow Whites and Cinderellas made their mark. Blazers were adorned with vivid floral decals; dresses turned royal with big billowing pastel sleeves; and bodysuits similarly deserved crowns with satin poufs flowing dramatically from their legs. Kylie Jenner appeared in the final look—a grand black gown with a form-fitting bodice and fawning skirt—before fireworks blasted from Sleeping Beauty Castle, signaling the show’s conclusion.
Following the final carousel, Paris Fashion Week’s glitterati galivanted through the park until the early morning hours— battling one another in Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast, chasing thrills on Hyperspace Mountain and feasting on Mickey Mouse-shaped fries. Talk about a fairy-tale ending.
