Ludovic de Saint Sernin To Show During New York Fashion Week
The Parisian designer will stage a one-off runway on the New York calendar on February 11.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin is preparing to hold his first runway show in New York City this February, departing from the Paris Fashion Week calendar for one season to establish an even stronger connection with the American market.
The designer will reveal his Fall/Winter 2024 collection on February 11 at the Starrett-Lehigh Building, otherwise known as the official destination for New York Fashion Week: The Shows. Notably, Ludovic’s designs are heavily informed by New York’s S&M scene — particularly through the lens of photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in the ’70s and ’80s.
“Words can’t quite express how excited I am to be bringing LdSS to New York City,” said de Saint Sernin in a statement. “It’s always been a hub of inspiration, due to its legacy as a key location in the history of contemporary queer culture and some of today’s defining artistic movements, but also due to the incredible community that has built around the brand in the city.”
“It’s so touching to see that there’s such an affinity with what we do. With this show, I hope to be able to show just how much we appreciate and admire New York and the people that make it what it is,” he added.
North America is the brand’s largest market, with U.S. sales composing 32% of Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s total revenue, according to WWD. The label’s temporary move to New York Fashion Week, which is scheduled to take place from February 9 to 14, will serve to increase the designer’s presence in the market.
Steven Kolb, chief executive officer of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, added, “New York Fashion Week is a powerful stage with international appeal and a destination for global brands to connect with the American market. We are delighted to welcome Ludovic de Saint Sernin to the official NYFW schedule for his next runway show, adding to the collective and creative strength of the week.”
