When James Fauntleroy and founded 1500 or Nothin’ in 2006, little did he know the immense impact the hip-hop collective would have on the music industry, producing songs for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Nipsey Hussle – and racking up a plethora of Grammy Awards along the way. Fauntleroy’s collective – also boasting the likes of Rance Dopson, Lamar Edwards a.k.a. Marz and Brody Brown – has joined hands with Anti Social Social Club to deliver a special collaborative capsule in tribute to Nipsey.

Consisting of apparel and accessories – including a bag, a Nalgene bottle and a dad cap – it’s the commemorative hoodie that stands out among the capsule. “LLNH” (or “Long Live Nipsey Hussle”) runs down the side of the arm in yellow embroidery. The names of Carlos McSwain (Snoop Dogg’s former drummer), Charles “Uncle Chucc” Hamilton (a former 1500 or Nothin’ member) and rapper Brandon “G.I. Joe” Joseph are also included.

“With this collaboration with Anti Social Social Club, we had the opportunity to do something about more than clothes,” Fauntleroy, who designed all of the graphics himself, noted in a statement. “The collection is a tribute to resilience and a nod to the enduring legacy of both creativity and the human spirit. I wanted to pay respect to those who’ve heavily impacted this story and celebrate the spirit of 1500 Day. Take a closer look at Fauntleroy and his fellow 1500 or Nothin’ members repping the pieces below.

“Our products have always shown up in the hip-hop space, and we’re excited to be collaborating with James and Rance, who have played a big role in defining what hip-hop sounds like today,” said Anti Social Social Club in an official statement. “1500 or Nothin’ has been a driving force behind many of the greatest hits of our time. With a collection called “Heaven’s Angels,” ASSC is proud to play an ode to some of their past friends and collaborators who helped them get to where they are.”

Shop the collection tomorrow, Saturday, January 20 beginning at 8 a.m. PST, available exclusively at Anti Social Social Club’s webstore.
