'SPY x FAMILY' Season Two Trailer Reveals Premiere Date and New Theme Songs
Operation Stix resumes on October 7.
Following previous news confirming the release of SPY x FAMILY’s first feature film, as well as its return for a second installment of TV anime, TOHO Animation has finally shared the first trailer for season two.
The promotional trailer offers a glimpse of the events due to take place in the coming installment, while also previewing both the new opening and ending theme songs. “Kurakura” is a lively, upbeat, and vibrant track performed by mysterious Gen Z singer, Ado, and will be serving as the anime’s new opening theme. Meanwhile, the ending theme song “Todome no Ichigeki” (Finishing Blow) boasts a more relaxed tempo with a city-pop kind of mood. The song is both produced and performed by Vaundy and will feature Cory Wong on guitar.
SPY x FAMILY season two will premiere on October 7 across major TV broadcasters in Japan. Like the preceding season, it will also be available to stream on select online platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+. In the meantime, watch the trailer above.
