Panerai Unveils Three New Luminor Due Models at Watches & Wonders Shanghai
Featuring a Goldtech™ build, a yellow gold version, and the new Luminor Due Prada Re-Nylon.
Panerai previously launched four new Radiomir models in spring, during Watches & Wonders Geneva. For the Shanghai edition, the luxury Maison delivers three new Luminor Due iterations, comprising one in a Goldtech™ build, one yellow gold, and four new variants of its Prada-collaborated model.
Luminor Due Luna TuttoOro
From the case, bezel, to bracelet, the 38mm Luminor Due Luna TuttoOro PAM01504 is the first Panerai moon phase reference to be fully attired in Goldtech™. The material is a unique alloy that’s composed of platinum and copper, which gives it its distinctive red undertone. It’s fitted with a mother-of-pearl dial that gracefully complements the watch’s lume-filled indexes and handset. Meanwhile, its iridescence creates an aesthetic conversation with the moon phase indicator, thus adding a touch of poeticism to its appeal. Powered by the P.900/MP, an automatic mechanical caliber that when fully winded, can continuously run for up to three days.
Luminor Due PAM01423
Arriving in a 42mm case size, the PAM01423 is the first from its series to feature a yellow-gold build. It’s paired with a dark green sun-brushed dial, creating a stark contrast with its radiant build, while also allowing both to shine respectively. It’s also geared with 5 bars of water resistance and a three-day power reserve that comes with the P.900 caliber. A dark green alligator accompanies the timepiece, serving as a perfect finishing touch to the sophisticated and classy mood.
Luminor Due Prada Re-Nylon
Style meets innovation in this new timepiece, which marks Panerai’s collaboration with fellow Italian Maison, Prada. Accompanying the slim and sleek Luminor Due are straps designed by Prada, which are made from regenerated material called Re-Nylon. The 42mm version comprises a blue-dialed reference with navy-colored straps and a white-dialed variant paired with straps in an iron-gray hue. Meanwhile, the 38mm models both come in a matte-finished white dial and are offered with straps in a Fiordaliso light gray shade, or in Alabaster pink.
