Manchester City and PUMA have just presented their new away jersey for the 2023/24 season and it celebrates the industrious beating heart of Manchester and the people who make it happen.

Just like the city of Manchester itself, the new jersey is made a “bit different,” drawing on Manchester’s industrial heritage. Inspired by the towering mills, buzzing warehouses, and industry of the city, the shirt is hit with an all-over tonal graphic print, integrated to give the shirt a retro feel as it nods to the archival weave patterns Manchester is synonymous with.

Additionally, the shirt is designed with a crisp white base, while it also uses accent colors that honor Manchester’s heritage. For example, these hues come in the form of gold flame highlights, which are used to represent the famous brickworks of Ancoats, one of the city’s most popular destinations. The inside neck includes a symbolic representation of the factory skyline to round off the design.

Commenting on the release of the new kit, Manchester City’s Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing, Serena Gosling, said: “We’re delighted to reveal our 2023/24 away kit today, completing our offering of kits for the new season.

“Both our home kit celebrating 20 years of the Etihad Stadium, which launched in May, and our electrifying third kit, which launched last month in Tokyo, as part of our preseason tour of Asia, have been hugely popular, breaking club sales records again.”

You can take a closer look at the official imagery for the new Manchester City jersey above — which features City stars such as Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker, and John Stones — and it is available to shop via the official Man City website now.
