GANNI SS24 Embraces the Uncertainty of Artificial Intelligence
Going crazy for collaboration by working with AI artist Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm, Paloma Elsesser, Ace & Tate, and New Balance.

Every season, GANNI hosts the most anticipated showcase of Copenhagen Fashion Week, and Spring/Summer 2024 is no different. Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup widely explored the uncertain impact that artificial intelligence has on our daily lives, considering her children’s upbringing in the process.
For Fall/Winter 2023, GANNI analyzed ever-changing life cycles through its new butterfly symbol, debuting a dynamic collection that kept inclusivity at the forefront. GANNI continues to welcome new members into its fashion family, working alongside AI artist Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm to create AI-infused graphic garments for SS24. The collection is kept sleek and refined while delivering new silhouettes that push GANNI’s design language to new heights.
Backdropped by heavy-rooted trees and cement flooring, the collection was brought to life on models of all shapes and sizes. New drapage techniques were used across skin-tight dresses that clung to the body in all the right places, while miniature futuristic versions were designed in glossy leather. Oversized embroidered denim and flower-embellished tops examined the body’s natural proportions, followed by silver fringed garments with three-dimensional decor.
GANNI women came ready for action, prepared to conquer the days ahead wearing The Matrix-esque pitch-black suiting. Corduroy dresses walked the runway in delicate purple hues, while buckled co-ords and glistening eveningwear was destined for nightfall adventures. SS24 saw GANNI go crazy for collaboration, previewing confident garments by Paloma Elsesser, nine eyewear styles with Ace & Tate, and bright yellow New Balance 1906Rs.
