Craig Green is one of the UK’s finest fashion and design talents. His work is curious and enigmatic, intricate and personal, and above all else, passionate. It’s what makes his adidas collaborations so successful, drives fans crazy from season to season, and now sees him earn the title Professor of Fashion at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Having founded his brand in 2012 (shortly after graduating the Fashion Masters course at Central Saint Martins College at the University of the Arts London), Craig Green MBE has gone on to define the UK’s more adventurous side of fashion. His accolades include British Menswear Designer at the Fashion Awards 2016, 2017, and 2018, Menswear Guest Designer at Pitti Uomo 94 in 2018, the BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund prize 2016, and Emerging Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards 2014.

Now, Green joins teaching alumni such as Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood and Helmut Lang, Raf Simons, Hussein Chalayan, Luke and Lucie Meier, and Grace Wales Bonner — and he aims to fill these big shoes by championing tomorrow’s fashion generation.

Speaking on appointment, the designer said:

“It is a real honor to join the incredible team and students of the Fashion Department at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and I’m really looking forward to working closely with them over the next three years.”

ICYMI, catch up with Craig Green here, where we discussed 10 years of his namesake brand.
