Drake is looking to further define himself as a poet of our time with his first poetry book. Taking to Instagram, the Canadian artist shared an official announcement for the release of his book with friend and collaborator Kenza Samir. Samir is best known for her songwriting contributions to albums by Drake, her major songwriting credits include “HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right)” on Take Care, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, Nothing Was the Same, Scorpion, and Views.

Titled TITLES RUIN EVERYTHING A STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS BY KENZA SAMIR & AUBREY GRAHAM, published by Phaidon, features a bold blue cover with the book’s title in contrasting white. Drake captioned his post with, “I don’t know if I have ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life…our first book is available tmrw on @drakerelated and other select retailers.”

Drake originally discussed releasing a poetry book back in 2022 during an episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Table for One.

Drake’s TITLES RUIN EVERYTHING A STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS BY KENZA SAMIR & AUBREY GRAHAM poetry book will be available on DrakeRelated June 24, 1 p.m. EDT and at select retailers shortly after.
