Don Julio 1942 has officially made its debut in Singapore. In celebrating the launch, the tequila brand has invited Peggy Gou to headline its exclusive launch party at Singapore’s biggest and leading nightlife destination: the Marquee nightclub.

South Korean DJ Peggy Gou has collaborated with the brand to produce an unparalleled, and multi-sensory experience that wholly encapsulates the Don Julio spirit. The Marquee nightclub was transformed into a sanctuary of opulence and luxury, where it was further elevated with Gou’s infectious beats and electrifying energy as she played her latest contemporary club track, “(It Goes Like) Nanana.”

“Don Julio 1942 Tequila represents SEA’s new stylish accessory for luxury celebrations. It embodies the essence of style, glamour, and fashion, and we invite our esteemed audience to indulge in this extraordinary tequila, elevating every occasion to unforgettable heights,” shared Lyndon Govender, marketing director at Diageo Southeast Asia.

Celine Ong, Diageo Southeast Asia’s head of culture and partnership also noted, “Not only did we invite key regional and local influencers across these fields to celebrate this special occasion together, we also engaged DJ Peggy Gou who flew in from her summer tour in Europe, to play for the after-party at Marquee to an excitable and high energy crowd. Peggy Gou is a big name in the global club culture and increasingly prominent in the luxury fashion scene, and was simply the perfect fit to launch the world’s most luxurious tequila with us in our region!”

In case you missed it, Oscar Wang and Li-Ning co-created an immersive Spring/Summer 2024 runway experience.
