Corona Premier Announces Week-Long Takeover of L.A. During the U.S. Open Championship

For Corona Premier, golf isn’t about having exclusive memberships or state-of-the-art gear: it’s about enjoying the lighter moments in life. As an official partner and the exceptional light beer of the U.S. Open Championship at The Los Angeles Country Club, the brand aspires to usher in a more inclusive environment in golf, connecting sports lovers through various splashy activations this summer. In partnership with Hypegolf Invitational, the Corona Premier Clubhouse will invite golf lovers and sports fans to experience the tournament in a lighter, refreshing format, where streetwear, music, food and star-studded personalities illuminate the sport’s forward-looking horizon. The Clubhouse experience will be held at the Sand Canyon Country Club in Santa Clarita, California.

The lineup is plentiful, replete with the Corona Premier Clubhouse experience, slated to take over LA’s center atrium at Westfield Century City Plaza. Starting June 15 through 18, IRL and digital experiences on and off-course will unite golfers and non-golfers alike to participate in light-hearted challenges, experiment with streetwear-inspired golf styles and soak up the city’s lively culture.

Throughout tournament week, the Corona Premier Clubhouse hub will launch a series of IRL events, including the anticipated return of Hypegolf Talks moderated by Kira Dixon, featuring panelists such as the founders of lifestyle brand Eastside Golf, Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl A. Cooper, Senior Manager Business Development of Hypegolf, Ray Mate and Megan Lamothe of Foray Golf. Brands such as Vessel will partner with Family Style and Chef Alvin Cailan to host a savory influencer dinner and live DJ set, where guests will be gifted exclusive Corona Premier x Family Style Vessel bags embroidered on-site. On Friday, June 16, the Clubhouse will host a main stage takeover with avid golfers and DJs Jacob Osher and T.J. Mizell.

Corona and Hypegolf Invitational‘s on-site activation at the Sand Canyon Country Club will introduce the brand to the Hypegolf community. Skill challenges, like closest to the pin, target shooting and chipping contests, will encourage guests to hit the green for a chance to win merch (from the likes of co-branded divot tools, beer doozies and golf towels, among others) and VIP access to the Corona Clubhouse Panel event and The Trophy Club presented by Corona Premier. Hypegolf signage and a custom QR code will assist guests in navigating the plethora of on-course activities and activations throughout the day that simply can’t be missed.
