Nike continues to expand the Wilson Smith-designed line-up of sneakers. The Air More Uptempo which originally debuted back in 1996, is best known for its iconic silhouette and popular “AIR” lettering on the lateral side. NBA star Scottie Pippen was one of the first players to popularize the shoe. Arriving for the upcoming fall season, the Nike Air More Uptempo surfaces in “Buff Gold.”

With a tint of vintage to the colorway, the shoe comes dressed in a buff gold, bronzine and sail color scheme. The shoe is constructed in an all-leather build, featuring its signature perforations for added breathability and mesh tongues. The buff gold tone is seen dressing all over the upper, along with the bronzine trim and oversized “AIR” lettering branding. The shoe sits atop a white rubber sole while a larger Swoosh in bronzine on the underfoot rounds out the design.

Look out for the Nike Air More Uptempo “Buff Gold” releasing in the coming months at select retailers and on Nike for $170 USD.

In other footwear news, the Nike Air Max 97 has officially joined the “Athletic Department” collection.
