HUF Taps Freddie Gibbs for a Sin City-Inspired Collection
Featuring refreshed resortwear with iced-out graphics, statement patterns and nods to Vegas’ Golden Era.
Global skate brand HUF has tapped Indiana-based rapper Freddie Gibbs for a capsule collection inspired by Las Vegas’ Golden Era, titled “After Dark We Really Come to Life.”
The collection fuses Sin City’s glamour and casino motifs with illustrative graphics from Big Boss Rabbit and HUF’s Green Buddy. Drawing sartorial straight-off-the-strip references, the line reimagines classic resort-wear pieces with couture-inspired patterns, glittering motifs and ample gold detailing.
Across the range, the HUF x Freddie Gibbs Satin Reversible Souvenir Jacket opts for a red-white color story atop a varsity-like construction, while the collection’s Track Pant boasts embroidered artwork and metal keyring details. Additionally, the Craps Skate Deck, which arrives with green dice, dons casino-inspired artwork, and a co-branded pinky ring features the letter “H” with bunny ears alongside embedded stones.
Gibbs is a longtime friend of the Los Angeles-based lifestyle label, which was founded in 2002 by professional skater Keith Hufnagel. In the brand’s words, “Gibbs has always doubled down on talent, drive and creativity larger than hip-hop;” thus, the team-up is just as much a fitting tribute to “the eternal technician” as it is to Sin City’s glory days.
