The adidas Adilicious City Series Spotlights Paris' "Kolam" Restaurant
Celebrating Sri Lankan cuisine.
adidas‘ ongoing Adilicious series aims to spotlight international culinary talent by boosting their local culture. The Three Stripes imprint previously partnered with Mexico City’s Taquería Orinoco, Berlin’s Ø27, and more — now heading to Paris for Kolam‘s authentic Sri Lankan dishes.
The South Asian restaurant serves various cultural meals, from flavourful curry options to Wattalapan desserts infused with regional fruits and spices. Kolam reflects Sri Lanka’s vibrant heritage onto the adidas Campus, made from all vegan materials. Cream tumbled leather uppers enhance the base layer, featuring pastel green contrast stitching across the medials. Indonesian batik textiles cover adidas’ profile branding in pink and red, while “KOLAM” script appears above.
The restaurant’s food directory decorates the sockliners in French and Sinhalese, while dual-language logos are painted on the outsoles. Finally, Kolam’s traditional face illustration details rubber hang tags, completed with custom Adilicious boxing.
