While British tech brand Nothing has been known for its innovative products like the wireless earphones and the Nothing Phone, it appears that the brand is taking its innovation to new heights. Taking to Twitter, Nothing has revealed that it is releasing its own craft beer.

On March 31, the brand teased a video featuring a silhouette of what is now clearly a beer can. The video was accompanied by the caption, “More Buzz. Something else is coming.” Although Nothing is better known as a cutting-edge tech company, its next product helps to break them into the food and beverage industry. A day later on April 1, also known as April Fool’s Day, the company announced that it would be releasing a new product, Beer (5.1%). In a minimalist graphic featuring a note that reads, “Technically refreshing,” the company took to Twitter once again to announce the beer. In the Tweet, Nothing described the beer, “Crisp, unfiltered rice lager. Carefully crafted for a distinct and drier taste. Independently brewed in Wales, UK. Nothing engineer proved.”

While some thought it was an April Fool’s joke due to the timing of the announcement, Nothing was posted again on Twitter to reassure fans that the beer is in fact their next product. Nothing Beer is scheduled to release in Summer 2023. Stay tuned for more information.
