Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves is receiving his own signature shoe. The guard coming out of Wichita State un-drafted and Oklahoma just two years ago is getting his first signature shoe, the Rigorer AR1.

According to ESPN‘s Nick DePaula, Reaves has become the first NBA player to sign with the Chinese footwear brand, Rigorer last year. Since signing the deal with the Chinese brand, Reaves has been sporting Rigorer shoes throughout the 2022-23 season. Reaves joins a growing list of NBA players who have signed with Chinese apparel companies in recent years, including Dwyane Wade for Li-Ning and Klay Thompson and Gordan Hayward for Anta.

Currently, Reaves averages 12.4 points, 3.12 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game and has 51.9% shooting from the field and 38.3% from deep. Proving to be a key role player in the Lakers rotation, Reaves continues to grow this season. Reaves also becomes the only second current Laker with a signature shoe release. The Rigorer AR1 is expected to release later this summer.

In case you missed it, here is an official look at the Jordan Tatum 1 “St. Louis.”
