JJJJound and Levi's Officially Reveal Spring 2023 Denim Collaboration
Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the 501Ⓡ.

Update: Following initial images of its celebratory 501Ⓡ jacket and denim bottoms, JJJJound and Levi’s have just unveiled a complete look at their forthcoming collaboration. The duo has crafted a visually layered iteration of the iconic denim jacket, featuring four asymmetrical pockets and stamped JJJJound branding on the left waist.
The light-washed 501Ⓡ bottoms sport rope-like drawstrings for customizable adjustments, matched nicely with an essential button-down that produces a complete fit. The collection is rounded out with co-ed T-shirt designs boasting horse graphics and collaborative branding at the back.
The JJJJound x Levi’s collaboration will launch worldwide on May 5.
Update: Following an initial reveal last week, JJJJound has shown off another preview of its upcoming Levi’s collaboration for Spring/Summer 2023. This time, a denim jacket has been showcased with a selvedge stripe running down the middle, collaborative classic Levi’s tag and a Made in Turkey designation. This lightwash finish matches the 501 denim that has been prepared with an expected release period just around the corner. Original Story: JJJJound has announced a new collaboration with Levi’s, joining design studio’s recent wave of joint projects involving the likes of BAPE, ROA Hiking, PORTER, Reebok, and Blackstock & Weber.
So far, all we have to go on is a teaser image showing a pair of Levi’s 501Ⓡ jeans. On May 1873, Levi Strauss partnered with American tailor Jacob Davis to put rivets on pants for the first time. Those jeans, marked Lot 501, would be recognized as the very first pair of blue jeans ever made. This year, Levi’s celebrates the 150th anniversary of the silhouette which is arguably the most iconic apparel piece of all time. Defining features of the jeans include the Red Tab, first placed onto the right back pocket in 1936 to differentiate from other jeans on the market. For the collaboration, the JJJJound logo is found subtly integrated onto the red ink jacrons.
Stay tuned for more images and details to surface in the coming days.
