Eli Russell Linnetz To Be Pitti Uomo 104's Guest Designer

As the Spring/Summer 2024 season is upon us, Pitti Uomo has announced that Eli Russell Linnetz will be this year’s guest designer.
The Californian designer is set to present ERL‘s SS24 collection with a fashion show in Florence this june. In a statement regarding the upcoming season, Linnetz said, “It’s with great excitement to be joining the long list of heroes that have walked these streets before me. To stand on the shoulders of giants — the California waves swelling high into the sky then crash down upon Florence. The birthplace of Renaissance and magic — beauty born from thin air. Peer through the magic spectacles as the journey continues…”
An American artist and designer from Venice Beach, California, his pieces are always infused with his own unique and colorful take. Since launching its brand in 2020, ERL has expanded its offering to womenswear, suiting, accessories, fragrances and even childrenswear. All ERL photography, casting, and campaigns are created in-house by Eli Russell Linnetz. In regards to Linnetz being chosen as the guest designer for Pitti Uomo 104, Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communication and Special Events said, “An eclecticism that is aware of cultural and gender references. A talent for combining commercial flair with unrestricted creativity. An original, often ironic and irreverent reinterpretation of American cliches, both eternal and modern-day. ERL SS24 will be presented in Florence on June 14.
