Prada Has Produced Another $1,000 USD Tank Top
At least this one is partly made from silk.
Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons are the undisputed mom and dad of fashion, producing collections that have changed the shape of the industry with a step into a reductive era — take a look at Prada’s Fall/Winter 2023 menswear collection or the viral tank top, for example. On the topic of the latter, Prada has just dropped another tank top, keeping up with its theme of simplicity.
Whereas the singlet from last season elevated the humble white tank top, placing its metal triangular emblem front-and-center on the chest, this new version takes a slightly subtler approach. However, its construction is nothing to be overlooked, being crafted from a blend of silk and cotton for the utmost comfort.
The semi-transparent open-weave style makes this piece ever more fit for summertime, while touches like a ribbed v-neck cut add a touch of class and sophistication to the basic number. As far as branding goes, Prada adds a flat-weave triangle logo on the chest, sitting alongside “Milano” scripture.
