Official Look at the Nike Air Max 1 CO.JP "Michigan"
Expressing a familiar mix of “Midnight Navy/Varsity Maize/Natural”
Fresh off of its 35th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 1 is now set to receive a new CO.JP take. The CO.JP series stands for “Concept Japan” and references the section of the URL used for Nike’s website for Japan once upon a time.
A women’s exclusive, the Nike Air Max 1 CO.JP “Michigan” expresses a familiar mix of “Midnight Navy/Varsity Maize/Natural.” The premium construction features navy upper bases accented by snake and croc skin-like yellow overlays. Additional detailing comes in the form of nylon tongues, leather linings, eyelets, and matching laces.
Aside from the usual midfoot Swooshes, branding includes mini Swooshes, tongue tags, print insoles, and “NIKE AIR” embroidered at the rear. Elevating the shoe are off white tone Air-assisted midsoles paired with yellow rubber outsoles.
Priced at $160 USD, the women’s exclusive Nike Air Max 1 CO.JP “Michigan” is now expected to release April 14.
