Louis Vuitton's Next Cruise Show Will Take Place on a Baroque Italian Island
The French fashion house will take over Isola Bella of the Isole Borromee on May 24.

For Cruise 2024, Louis Vuitton is headed to a small island in Italy — specifically, Isola Bella of the Isole Borromee, located on Lake Maggiore. There, the French fashion house will touch down on May 24, following its Pre-Fall show in Seoul at the end of April.
Isola Bella has been in the hands of the Borromeo family, led by Prince Vitaliano XI Borromeo and his wife Marina, for the last 400 years. Notably, Louis Vuitton will become the first brand to stage a fashion show at the luscious location, which the House describes as “a treasure chest of Baroque art suspended over the water.”
On location, Isola Bella houses the Palazzo Borromeo, a 20-room palace decorated with Baroque interiors and 130 notable Italian paintings. Outside of the place, the island’s green gardens operate on a satisfying grid, with the Teatro Massimo, a statuesque monument, planted in its center.
Louis Vuitton and its women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière are known to select impressive backdrops for its cruise shows. In seasons past, the brand has presented resort collections at venues including John Lautner’s Bob & Dolores Hope Estate in Palm Springs, Oscar Niemeyer’s Contemporary Art Museum in Niterói, I.M. Pei’s Miho Museum near Kyoto and the Salk Institute in California, among several other visually stunning locations.
Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2024 collection will become available in all Louis Vuitton stores worldwide in November 2023. Take a look at the upcoming show’s location above.
