Liv Tyler Reprising Role From 2008's 'The Incredible Hulk' For 'Captain America: New World Order'
Returning to the MCU after 16 years.
Liv Tyler is officially joining the cast of Marvel‘s Captain America: New World Order, reprising her role from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
According to reports, the actress will return to the MCU as Betty Ross, a scientist and the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Her on-screen father was the late William Hurt, who also appeared in subsequent Marvel films such as Captain America: Civil War, but will be replaced by Harrison Ford for New World Order, which will see the character as President of the United States.
New World Order will see Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson take over as Captain America from Chris Evans‘ Steve Rogers. Joining Wilson in the cast are Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas and Tim Blake Nelson, while Julius Onah will serve as director, Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson as screenwriters and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore as producers.
Captain America: New World Order premieres May 3, 2024.
