Jacopo De Carli Unveils Vibram-Equipped Clarks Wallabee Customs
While showing how they’re made.


Last year, designer Jacopo De Carli loaded up two pairs of paint-splattered Wallabees with fabric tags for official one-of-a-kind customs. This year, he connects with Alberto Vinciguerra and Michele Pirrone from the Vibram team to create two new iterations of Clarks Originals Wallabees covered in colorful wax patterns.
The first iteration is a high-top covered in red wax with cow print-shaped perforations and toggle laces. The shoes are seen dipped in a Formech Vacuum Forming Machine to achieve the effect. Also included are low-top laceless Wallabees in a gold coating with skeleton outlines on the toe box and stacked bulbous panels along the laterals.
