Harrington Family Foundation Announces a Charity Raffle of Limited-Edition Jordans Designed by Tinker Hatfield
Featuring signed-by-Tinker Air Jordan 14 “Oregon” PEs and a HFF-themed Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.
The Harrington Family Foundation has just announced its newest fundraiser that entails a raffle of limited-edition Jordan PEs that were composed by Tinker Hatfield — iconic Nike footwear designer and one of the founding Harrington Family Foundation program mentors.
Titled the Sneakers for Scholarships, the charity initiative features a special, limited-275-pairs Air Jordan 14 “Oregon Ducks” PE that was gifted to the school’s elite football squad for the 2022 Alamo Bowl as well as an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG makeup that was cooked up with the HFF’s signature white and green color scheme. The former is pieced together with charcoal gray suede panels and comes with school pride-inspired details like the Ducks logo which sits inside the Ferrari-esque badges, “Oregon” spell-outs on the tongues as well as Hatfield’s signature on the collars of the right shoe. The AJ 1s are styled with a crisp white and green color scheme and come equipped with scaly Swooshes and HFF’s logo on the tongues. Both pairs are size 10 and are valued at $4,500 USD.
“Tinker has designed thousands of shoes for Nike, but none may have a more direct impact than the five pairs he produced for us”, said Joey Harrington, President of the Harrington Family Foundation, and former NFL and University of Oregon quarterback. “I am humbled to have the support of a true Oregonian and thrilled to launch what I hope to be an incredibly successful fundraiser.”
5,000 raffle tickets will be sold at $25 USD a pop and can be purchased here from March 5, 2023 9am PDT to March 19, 2023 at 11:59PM PDT. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on March 20, 2023 at 11:15AM PDT on live television via KGW-TV Hello Rose City. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Oregon Community Leadership Scholarship program, which currently supports 16 scholarship students at $20,000 USD per student. In other news, early images of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” have emerged.
