G-SHOCK Expands Its G-SQUAD Series With the GBD-H2000
Equipped with six sensors and an inbuilt GPS function.

G-SHOCK has expanded its G-SQUAD series with a brand new GBD-H2000 model that focuses on functionality, and strength.
With its six sensors and in-built GPS, the watch provides real-time physical activity tracking for its wearers from running, trail walking, biking, swimming, and gym to interval training. In addition to G-SHOCK’s usual shock and water resistance, the GBD-H2000 model’s specs ensure accurate measurement and tracking for a variety of movements and workouts. Powered by POLAR®, its optical heart rate sensor operates on LED light and measures any changes in the wearer’s blood flow. The accelerometer is there to analyze movements and steps, while the gyroscope is added to record information such as strokes and turns during swimming. Magnetic, pressure, and thermo sensors are also integrated to accurately detect the changes in the environment, along with temperature and altitude/air pressure tracking.
Other highlighted features include a newly introduced algorithm for its dedicated mobile app, which now comes in a much more user-friendly design with detailed breakdowns and customizable activity logs.
Arriving in a new dual-layer frame design, the GBD-H2000 is upgraded with a resin caseback and a thinner rechargeable battery, while also slightly reducing its size and weight in comparison to its preceding models. The watch’s bezel and band are also made with eco-friendly biomass plastic that derives from renewable raw organic resources.
The GBD-H2000 comes with two color options — a chartreuse and fuchsia GBDH2000-1A9, as well as an all-black GBDH2000-1A. Both options will be officially launching on March 10 with a retail price of $399 USD. Currently, the watches are available for preorder via G-SHOCK’s website.
