Fendi To Stage Men's Spring 2024 Show During Pitti Uomo in Tuscany
At the Italian fashion house’s newly-debuted Fendi Factory.

Fendi will present its Men’s Spring 2024 collection in a special fashion show during Pitti Uomo. In the late afternoon on June 15, the Italian fashion house will debut the line at its recently inaugurated Fendi Factory in Capannuccia, a Tuscan countryside village located just a 30-minute drive from Florence.
“We are proud to open Fendi Factory to our clients and press, making it live outside the day by day for the upcoming Men’s fashion show in June during Pitti Uomo,” said Serge Brunschwig, Fendi’s chairman and CEO, in a statement. “It is a special place for our artisans and local community as it represents Fendi heritage and creativity, nurturing precious handmade abilities of its artisans and preserving Made in Italy.”
Silvia Venturini Fendi, the brand’s artistic director of accessories and menswear, added, “I am thrilled that the next Men’s Show will take place in such a special location to me, the pulsing heart of Fendi, a place symbolic of creation, where development, innovation, craftsmanship training and production are reunited under the same roof. It will be such a unique occasion to see our products take life exactly where our Artisans make them, letting them take centre stage on that day.”
Pitti Immagine, the entity behind Pitti Uomo, and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana initiated the idea for the Rome-based fashion label’s show. According to a statement from the brand, Fendi will return to Milan Fashion Week in January of next year for its Men’s Fall 2024 show.
“I am particularly delighted with the presence of Fendi, one of the most prestigious luxury brands on the global scene, at Pitti Uomo in June, precisely in the edition that marks my debut at the helm of the company,” said Antonio De Matteis, Kiton’s CEO and newly-named president of Pitti Immagine.
Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s chairman Carlo Capasa said, “The choice of Maison Fendi to present its men’s collection at its Factory in Florence is an important message of enhancing the fashion industry and local territory. It is amazing that a great brand, a member of CNMI, by opening the doors of its own pole highlights the work of craftsmanship that makes Italian fashion unique in the world.”
Fendi pulled back the curtain on its Tuscan factory in December, stating that the multi-faceted outpost was a collaborative project between the label’s in-house specialist architecture team and the Milan-based architecture studio, Piuarch. The strikingly contemporary-yet-minimalist factory blends with its surroundings in a natural shade of warm tan, and its roof is covered in a lush garden. Inside, the innovative edifice houses a production warehouse, workshops, offices, a school for leather goods and a restaurant.
