Edison Chen Teases Upcoming McDonald's x CLOT Collaboration
Centered around McD Hong Kong’s McSpicy Chicken Filet burger.
Hot off of the unveiling of the Bruce Lee-inspired Nike “CLOTEZ” “Yellow/Black,” CLOT Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen has now shared an upcoming collaboration with McDonald’s. Taking to Instagram, Chen shared an image believed to be from the campaign for the upcoming McDonald’s x CLOT team-up, exclusive to China.
Although no official information has been announced just yet, the collaboration looks to center around the McSpicy Chicken Filet burger. Sold in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and most importantly Hong Kong, the McSpicy Chicken Filet features a chicken thigh patty deep-fried in a crispy and spicy batter, served on a bed of fresh lettuce topped with mayonnaise, and bundled up in a sesame seed bun.
The image share shows a special box set that resembles a Happy Meal box with a Golden Arches top handle wrapped in a red Silk Royale. The markings on the box show motifs pointing towards the collaboration being part of CLOT’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, McSpicy Chicken Filet text, and an anthropomorphic burger underscored by “McDonald’s” text. Inside the box appears to be a hoodie, T-shirt, and tote bag continuing the designs found on the packaging.
Take a look at the teaser below and stay tuned for more information regarding the 20th-anniversary McDonald’s x CLOT collaboration.
