The middle of March is always quite an eventful time of the year as the spring season officially settles in, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated and sports fans indulge in the NCAA‘s annual March Madness hoops tournament. And to pile on more excitement to the seasonal shift, your favorite sneaker brands like Nike, MSCHF and New Balance have readied a fresh assemblage of releases for you to enhance your collections. But before we tap into those, let’s go through the major sneaker headlines from last week.

Hypebeast and its Sole Mates series expanded by welcoming Sneaker District South Africa’s head of marketing Kim Jayde to discuss her love for the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” collaboration. We also got the exclusive on the design details behind the innovative Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 collaboration and Atlas‘ recent Forum Low team-up with adidas.

On the news front, we saw Nike tease a plethora of exciting new drops including its forthcoming collection with Supreme, Sabrina Ionescu‘s first signature sneaker and sacai’s upcoming Nike LDV Waffle Woven offering. Parties that are interested in copping have been instructed to post up at West 34th Street & 7th Avenue in New York City at 12:05pm EDT on March 21, 2023 to find out where the shoes will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Why You Should Cop: After dropping its internet-breaking big red boots, MSCHF is revisiting its Super Normal 2 silhouette and releasing it in a brand new “Mint Green” colorway. The lifestyle-centric Air Force 1 look-a-likes are predominantly made up of crispy white leather, and this allows its titular shade to stand out across the overlays that are adjacent to the throat, the interior liners, tongues and outsoles. Laces are done up with a two-toned motif while a trio of pink exclamation points adorn the heels and distorted MSCHF branding is situated on the midsoles.
