The SUNNEI FW23 Runway Was a Crowd Surfing Rock 'n Roll Concert

The collection was modeled by its team of designers, assistants, web managers, and more who dove into the crowd while sporting the brand’s latest offerings.

SUNNEI has become synonymous with outlandish runway concepts that allow its audience to get involved in the magic. From sprinting models to others emerging from the audience to reveal identical twins, SUNNEI knows how to put on a show, and its Fall/Winter 2023 exhibit might be the best one yet.

Attendees were guided into an intimate room with no seating, remaining in a standing crowd awaiting SUNNEI’s latest offering. One by one, models began to make their way down a petite runway to the tune of banging rock ‘n roll melodies, jumping off-stage to crowdsurf over guests on-foot. Fun and undeniably unique, SUNNEI’s team of assistants, designers, and managers were the stars of the show. The collection told a tale of confidence, interaction, and freedom, asking us to work together to create a truly extraordinary experience.

Although the clothes were up high, we could catch a glimpse of SUNNEI’s FW23 collection, which was infused with vibrant tones and patterns. Rainbow hues adorned checkered coats, velour suiting, fuzzy scarves, crop tops, skirts, and gloves with knitted detailing. Bleached denim looks laid atop the crowd, while patchwork coats and bottoms sported frayed edges for an unfinished look. Elsewhere, stripped patterns enhanced crotchet polo tops and apron shirting, working alongside leather trousers, wrap-around maxi skirts, and more.
